A Project Coordinator in the construction industry assists the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction projects. The role involves managing documentation, coordinating with site engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients, and ensuring projects are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects.

Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, architects, and vendors.

Monitor project schedules, timelines, and daily progress.

Prepare project reports, MIS, and documentation.

Track materials, manpower, and project requirements.

Schedule meetings and maintain meeting records.

Follow up on pending tasks and project deadlines.

Ensure proper communication between office and site teams.

Assist in preparing project budgets and cost reports.

Maintain project files, drawings, and other important documents.

Identify delays and coordinate with the team for timely completion.

Required Skills

Good communication and coordination skills.

Knowledge of construction project processes.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and project documentation.

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work with multiple teams and meet deadlines.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Graduates with relevant construction experience may also apply.

Experience.

Experienced: 1–5 years in construction project coordination.
