An Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, machines, and electrical systems in residential, commercial, industrial, or construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lighting and electrical equipment.

Diagnose and repair electrical faults and breakdowns.

Perform preventive and routine electrical maintenance.

Read and understand basic electrical diagrams and wiring layouts.

Test electrical systems and ensure proper functioning.

Maintain electrical panels, motors, generators and other equipment.

Follow electrical safety procedures and workplace safety standards.

Replace damaged wires, components, switches and electrical fixtures.

Maintain records of repairs, maintenance and inspections.

Coordinate with maintenance, engineering or site teams when required.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of electrical wiring and maintenance.

Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical faults.

Basic knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment.

Understanding of electrical safety practices.

Good problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 0+ years relevant experience required
• Qualification: 12th Pass / Higher Secondary (10+2 / HS)
