A Distribution Executive is responsible for coordinating the movement of products from warehouses or distributors to customers, retailers, and sales points. The role involves inventory management, order processing, dispatch coordination, delivery tracking, and maintaining distributor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily dispatches, deliveries, and distribution activities.
Monitor stock availability and maintain accurate inventory records.
Coordinate with warehouses, distributors, transporters, and sales teams.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
Prepare invoices, stock statements, MIS reports, and distribution documents.
Monitor distributor orders, collections, claims, and credit notes.
Follow up with transporters regarding delivery schedules and transportation issues.
Identify and resolve stock shortages, delivery delays, and damages.
Maintain proper documentation of shipments and inventory.
Support sales teams in achieving distribution and product-availability targets.
Requirements
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; B.Com/BBA is an advantage.
Experience: 0–3 years in distribution, logistics, FMCG, warehouse, or supply-chain operations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
