A Dispatch Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day dispatch of goods and ensuring that orders are packed, documented, loaded, and delivered accurately and on time. The role involves coordination with warehouse, sales, accounts, production, and transport teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily dispatch activities according to customer orders and delivery schedules.
Prepare and verify invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, packing lists, and transport documents.
Coordinate with warehouse/store teams for picking, packing, and loading of materials.
Verify quantity, product details, and packaging before dispatch.
Coordinate with transporters and drivers for timely vehicle placement and delivery.
Track shipments and follow up on delayed or pending deliveries.
Maintain dispatch registers, stock records, transporter details, and delivery records.
Update dispatch information in ERP/MIS systems.
Handle dispatch-related issues such as shortages, damages, or delivery delays.
Prepare daily/weekly dispatch and logistics reports.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Qualification
12th Pass / Graduate preferred.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Knowledge of ERP/Tally is an advantage.
Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Experience
Freshers: Can be considered for entry-level roles.
Experienced: 1–3 years in dispatch, warehouse, logistics, stores, or supply-chain operations.
