Educational Counsellor

An Educational Counsellor guides students and parents in selecting suitable courses, colleges, and career paths based on their interests, qualifications, and career goals. The role also involves counselling prospective students and supporting the admission process. Key Responsibilities: Counsel students regarding courses, colleges, and career opportunities. Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals. Explain course details, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures. Follow up with prospective students and parents. Handle student enquiries through calls, messages, and face-to-face meetings. Assist students throughout the admission and enrolment process. Maintain student records and update enquiry databases. Achieve assigned counselling/admission targets. Build positive relationships with students and parents. Coordinate with the academic and admission teams. Required Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong counselling and convincing abilities. Good presentation and negotiation skills. Basic computer knowledge. Target-oriented and customer-focused approach. Qualification: Graduate preferred. Experience: Freshers can be considered; experience in counselling, education, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
